Simon’s career with Close Brothers spans ten years as UK Operations Director, overseeing multiple locations across the country. Now based full-time in the United States, he’s passionate about delivering customer-focused financial solutions and excited to lead the business into its next chapter. Simon’s already embracing island life, enjoying shorter commutes, more time outdoors and a better work-life balance.
Stuart has a wealth of experience in the finance industry as well as various other areas of the local business community having lived in Jersey for over 20 years. He has a passion for ensuring that Close Finance delivers an efficient, high-quality service, tailored to meet the varying needs of our clients and business partners in the United States.
Graeme joined Close Finance, as part of the Jersey office, in 2023. He has over 40 years of experience in finance in the UK and Jersey, working in the banking sector. He has worked with many small and medium sized businesses, providing relationship management support and debt funding solutions. Graeme is a keen golfer and enjoys travelling.
Cleone is responsible for the Jersey sales team. She works hard to bring new business to the company and manages our existing client base with strong interpersonal relationships, as well as managing our dealer and broker relationships. Cleone always has our customers’ interests at heart and consistently goes above and beyond.
Stuart has over 30 years banking and lending experience including over 20 years undertaking various customer relationship and team management roles in both Jersey and Guernsey. He works with our team leaders initiating and progressing new business initiatives in both the personal and commercial sectors.
Marie has been with us since 2016. She works in our Jersey direct sales team, liaising closely with clients. From debt consolidation to home improvements, holidays to car finance, there isn’t anything Marie can’t support with. She loves spending time with her two dogs, Barney and Bobby.
John brings over 30 years of experience in consumer lending, offering a wealth of knowledge and insight to our business. He is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and takes real pride in making sure every customer journey is seamless, efficient and delivered with a smile.
Taylor works in the Customer Relationship Team as an Administrator and spends her day working alongside our dealers and brokers to process applications across personal, business and motor lending. She is a keen entertainer singing for local band Inside Job and a huge adrenaline junkie!
Emilie is a member of the Customer Relationship Administration team and serves as a key point of contact for our dealers and brokers. She is responsible for processing motor, personal, and commercial lending applications to a high standard, holding a degree in Bio-veterinary Science.
Tristan is part of the lending team in the Jersey office. Prior to joining Close Finance, he gained five years’ experience in the hospitality trade working in luxurious hotels and managing high end bars. Tristan’s goal is to transition those skills into the finance industry.
Anamaria has responsibility for the effective management of all credit related risks within Close Finance and ensuring the highest quality of loans being underwritten. Born in Transylvania in Romania, she moved to Jersey in 2015 after living in London.
Andy has been with Close Finance for over 15 years and currently works as our Risk & Compliance Officer. This entails working closely with colleagues, dealer and broker partners to deliver the best possible service while keeping the business safe and secure.
Kevin opened our Guernsey branch in 2006 and has managed it ever since. He works closely with the team to provide exceptional service to all our existing and potential new clients, along with ensuring we operate with professionalism, integrity and within all local regulations.
Robbie has worked within the group since 2015. In 2022, Robbie joined our Guernsey branch as Branch Manager. He leads the Guernsey team and is also our Head of Operations and Risk, ensuring we remain compliant with current legislation and maintain business reputation.
Lucy joined Close Finance in July 2023 and has become an integral part of the team. Able to operate in all aspects of the business, Lucy’s skill set ensures our customers and introducers receive the best possible service. In her spare time, Lucy enjoys pilates and reading.
Richard has over 10 years’ experience of working in the financial services sector in Guernsey. He is responsible for the lending team in Guernsey, which includes identifying new opportunities and customers, as well as looking for new opportunities in the local market.
Having spent many years in the motor trade in various customer service positions, Justin knows good customer service and strives to provide this for our many customers, business introducers, dealers and brokers in Guernsey for motor finance, personal loans and business lending.
Lucas joined the Close Finance team in January 2025, bringing with him a fresh perspective after completing his Business Management degree at the University of Hull. He is passionate about delivering outstanding service and supporting clients and dealer partners.
